ROCKAWAY CIVIC ASSOCIATION is proud to announce their addition to great events happening in Rockaway!!

BEACH FLIX - a series of free movies which will be shown on the beach at various locations.  This unique experience is organized by the Rockaway Civic Association for the community. Beach Flix is made possible through coordination with NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, NYC Police Department; it is entirely powered by volunteers and subsidized through a grant from Partnership for Parks, and sponsorships from local businesses and organizations.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS – Bring your blankets & beach chairs, movies will be shown on the sand at sundown.  Picnics are welcome and encouraged, but remember … help keep our beaches and ocean clean by removing your trash and disposing of it properly.  Alcoholic beverages and smoking not permitted.

Opening Night of Beach Flix is Thursday, June 14th at Beach 121st Street.  Our programming page has the full schedule of events and their locations.
